The Department of Classics is pleased to announce that Davide Luigi Pironi, a second year graduate student, has been awarded a Guiliano Global Graduate Fellowship for 2025-2026. This fellowship, sponsored by the Swearer Center for Public Service and established through the generosity of Edward Guiliano, supports expenses related to community-engaged research and the creation of an outcome to be shared with a community partner and/or the broader public. Davide will use this Fellowship to support travel to present his paper—“Aspects of Foreign Religion in Herodotus, Histories Book 1”—at the TEKMHRIA conference in Salerno in December. Congratulations to Davide!
