Biography
Davide Pironi received his M.A. in Literatures and History of the Ancient World from Sapienza University of Rome in 2024 and his B.A. in Classics from the University of Milan in 2022. His main research interests lie in Latin epigraphy and Roman social history, particularly of the early Imperial period. His work integrates historical, epigraphic, and archaeological evidence to explore how deeply Roman conquest affected marginal centers and their populations. He focuses on the social dynamics that shaped cultural change, such as the evolution of onomastic practices arising from interactions between indigenous communities and Roman citizens in Northern Italy under Imperial rule. Davide’s publications are available on his Academia.edu profile.
