Two 2017 Book Publications from Professor Stratis Papaioannou

The Department of Classics is pleased to report the recent publication of two works by Professor Stratis Papaioannou.

Professor Papaioannou is an Associate professor of Classics and also the Director of the Program of Medieval Studies. 

Christian Novels from the Menologion of Symeon Metaphrastes

Critical edition and translation of six texts composed a little before the year 1000 CE. They feature stories of extraordinary women (and men), in tales of transgression and violence, punishment and love.
